With only about 6-7 hours of driving between the southernmost end in the Red sea and the northernmost one at Mt. Hermon in the Golan Heights. – Israel is a very small. Some would say it's a disadvantage – but for me as a tour guide and for you as travelers- that's an important advantage.
Israeli licensed tour guides (such as myself) are qualified experienced and authorized to guide all over the country (cannot happen in Russia or the US J ) .
But for you travelers – this is even a bigger advantage- because you don't need more than few days to visit some of the main attractions in Israel, without having to spend to much time for commuting. If needed and preferred you can start and finish your days in your hotel / house in Jerusalem.

Few examples:

A day in the Dead sea area
